Vision

 

Purpose

  • Through networking encourage and empower each other as servants of Christ to reach the immigrants with the gospel, more specifically the Muslims.

Why is the network needed?

  • Need to share experiences, and to develop materials and best strategies for Muslim outreach in Southern Africa,
  • Need to share resources and information,
  • Need to coordinate our efforts and avoid duplication,
  • Need to reach out and professionally network to others.

Its Objectives

  1. Set up a regional network for Christian believers with a common concern for the salvation of Muslims;
  2. Provide a platform for peer learning and sharing experiences, good practices and lessons learned to accelerate implementation of the Christian concern to reach the Muslims with the gospel;
  3. Carry out a regional follow-up to and review of the implementation of the various strategies put in place by different churches, mission organisations, ministries, networks, and others to reach Muslims with the gospel and to address challenges and opportunities associated with the implementation;
  4. Deliberate and agree on the priorities and recommendations of good strategies and best practices in the form of key messages as the region’s collective input.

How will it work?

  • Annual or mid-annual forums/meetings at regional level,

  • Strong presence and active involvement and participation in different regional and global conferences,

Network Regional membership

The membership of the forum for Southern Africa Concern will be open to all countries, initiatives, and networks in the Southern African countries.
