ANNOUNCEMENT | LAUSANNE EUROPE 2020 - POSTPONED

The Lausanne Europe 2020 Coordination Team has taken the decision to postpone the Gathering planned for October 2020 in Poland due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will now take place from 17th to 21st November 2021. A virtual event is being planned for October 2020. More details to follow.

Forty-five years after the historic First Lausanne Congress, another key Lausanne gathering will take place in Europe once again. 

From 21-25 October 2020 in Wisla, Poland, Lausanne Europe 2020: Dynamic Gospel—New Europe will convene evangelical leaders, including leaders in churches, ministries, mission agencies, and in the workplace and academia, to reflect, pray, and consider how we might work together to bear witness to Jesus Christ in Europe today. 

Lausanne Europe 2020 is the central event in a wider conversation, which will include pre-gathering working groups, research, publications, online resources, and post-gathering networks. We will be partnering with the IFES Revive Europe Conference and will be including many other evangelical partners. We anticipate that half of the attendees will be younger leaders. The gathering will seek to honour ‘the spirit of Lausanne’ with a focus on prayer, study, partnership, hope, and humility—with an unwavering commitment to the evangelisation of Europe.
