From 2-6 November 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand, leaders across Asia will gather for the Asia 2020 Congress. 600-700 church leaders, pastors, theologians, para-church and mission leaders, and business leaders will convene to strategize together on the mission of the church coming from an Asia context.

There is a convergence of thought that the time is ripe and strategic for a major Asian leader gathering before a Majority World Christian Leaders Congress in 2023 and the Fourth Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization. Asia 2020 started as a Lausanne and World Evangelical Alliance joint initiative, along with co-sponsors Asia Lausanne, Asia Evangelical Alliance, and Asia Theological Association.
