Vision

Eurasia represents 11 times zones and about 200 different nationalities and languages spread across 12 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

A unique aspect of the region is its rich history. Christianity in Russia is more than 1,000 years old and in Armenia it is 1,700 years old, beginning with the third century AD.

Seventy years under Soviet ruling suppressed the spiritual life of the Eurasian peoples, but God has revived his church. Despite new challenges, the church in Eurasia is working to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ: ‘Preaching the gospel of God‘s grace‘. It is through this grace that thousands of new churches have been established over the past three decades.

The church has also become mature in missionary ministry both locally and globally. Today missionaries from the countries of Eurasia are working in Europe, East Asia, Africa, Australia, and South Asia.
